One-to-One WorkshopsWelcome to my new photographic one day workshop section of my web site. These courses are designed to cater for the real beginner to the advanced / professional photographer. You will be taught how to think of making an image before squeezing the trigger, choosing the right time of day and location. No topic will be off limits.I have been a full time working professional photographer for 21 years. I have photographed Prime Ministers (two), actors, athlete's' F18 fighter pilot's and musicians. I have been chased by crocodiles while trying to photograph them, I have been in the same pen as very big Indian Tigers. Photographed in the UK, France, Belgium and Germany. Flown over the Australian Outback in helicopters. So the wealth and knowledge I have in photographic experience in making images with a camera is something that is of benefit to those who want to progress in this great practice of photography. By the time you have finished your day you will have the confidence to make any kind of image you want. There will be no more hunting for THE shot, you will be able to photograph anything to a high level of understanding and creative ability. I will show you how to compose an image and see how it can work using a variety of methods and techniques such as using different focal length, depth of field and shutter speed, how to pre-visualise a shot before making it so you can achieve the look and result you want. we will cover the use of filters, on why, when and how they should be used. If you wish to bring a friend with you on the day there is no charge, although more than two people on the course are charged at $55 per person, minus model.
